Project Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Analyst

About the role

The Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Analyst will provide technical leadership and support for programme monitoring, evaluation, results measurement, data management, learning and reporting within UNDP’s Rule of Law Programme in Pakistan. Reporting directly to the Team Lead – Programme Specialist, the Analyst will ensure robust systems to track progress and produce evidence‑based reports.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks, indicators, baselines, targets and data‑flow systems.
• Establish and maintain databases and data‑management systems, ensuring data quality, disaggregation and gender‑responsive analysis.
• Develop data‑visualisation tools, dashboards and analytical products to support results monitoring and decision‑making.
• Coordinate evaluations, assessments, surveys and research assignments, and ensure timely, accurate programme reporting.
• Lead the preparation and coordination of periodic, annual and donor reports in line with UNDP corporate standards.

Required profile

• Technical leadership experience in monitoring, evaluation, results measurement and data management for development programmes.
• Demonstrated ability to promote gender‑responsive monitoring and to work with diverse institutional partners.
• Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights and evidence‑based recommendations.
