Project Travel and Logistics Associate

About the role

The Project Travel and Logistics Associate will provide dedicated travel, mission, event‑logistics and related administrative support for the Rule of Law Programme activities in Pakistan. The role ensures timely and efficient arrangements for official travel, field missions, trainings, workshops, conferences and other programme events in line with UNDP policies.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate travel and mission arrangements for programme personnel, consultants and authorised travelers, including preparation of travel requests, itineraries, tickets, accommodation and related documentation.
• Liaise with travel service providers and UNDP units to obtain travel options, issue and amend travel arrangements, and support security‑related travel requirements.
• Maintain travel calendars, provide pre‑mission information, resolve travel‑related issues, and support post‑travel documentation and claim processing.
• Keep organised records of travel authorisations, itineraries, tickets, boarding passes and claims in accordance with record‑management requirements.
• Collaborate with Operations & Finance Analyst on travel budgets, advances, claims and reconciliations, and produce travel trackers for monitoring.
• Coordinate logistical arrangements for programme events such as workshops, trainings, consultations and conferences, including venue booking, accommodation, local transport, interpretation, AV equipment, catering and participant registration.
• Manage vendor relationships, monitor service delivery, provide on‑site logistical support during events and ensure timely resolution of practical and administrative issues.
