Project Travel and Logistics Associate

About the role

The Project Travel and Logistics Associate will provide dedicated travel, mission and event‑logistics support for UNDP’s Rule of Law Programme in Pakistan, ensuring smooth and compliant arrangements for official travel, field missions, trainings and conferences.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate travel and mission arrangements for programme personnel, consultants and authorised travellers in line with UNDP travel policies.
• Prepare and process travel requests, itineraries, tickets, accommodation and related documentation.
• Liaise with travel service providers and UNDP units to secure travel options and manage amendments.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date travel calendar, track approvals and follow up on pending documentation.
• Support travel claims, financial reconciliation and maintain organised records of all travel documentation.
• Coordinate logistics for workshops, trainings, conferences and other programme events, including venues, transport, accommodation, interpretation and catering.
• Provide on‑site logistical support during events and resolve practical issues promptly.

Required profile

• Experience in travel coordination, logistics or administrative support within an international or development context.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple travel and event arrangements simultaneously.
• Good communication skills to liaise with internal teams, external vendors and service providers.
• Familiarity with UNDP policies and procedures is an advantage.
