Quality Specialist – QMS & Data Integrity

About the role

The Quality Specialist will own and drive quality across live data processing and operational environments at Abyss Solutions. Acting as the central authority for the organisation’s Quality Management System (QMS), you will ensure consistent delivery quality, operational efficiency and compliance with internationally recognised standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and continuously evolve the QMS aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 42001 and other applicable standards.
• Embed quality standards across live data processing, point‑cloud processing, data registration and operational workflows.
• Develop, govern and control quality guidelines, frameworks and documentation.
• Apply risk‑based thinking to adjust controls, sampling and inspection rigor based on performance trends.
• Monitor live quality, own NCR, incident reporting and CAPA cycles end‑to‑end.
• Conduct structured Root Cause Analysis using 5 Whys, Fishbone and other methodologies.
• Identify systemic causes of defects and drive sustainable corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Data, Engineering and Product teams to implement preventive controls and improve systemic quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a Quality Management System in an industrial or technology‑driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 42001 and risk‑based quality practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead incident management, NCR handling and CAPA processes.
• Experience conducting Root Cause Analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional technical and operational teams.
