Remote Go Developer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Go Developer to join a leading software development client on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while building high‑performance microservices and APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise backend services using Go to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines and security protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on Go (Golang) development experience.
• Proven experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of concurrency, data structures, and algorithms in Go.
