Remote Mathematics Professor & Researcher (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a PhD‑qualified Mathematics Professor/Researcher to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote and focuses on theoretical and applied research that drives algorithmic innovation and computational efficiency in AI and data‑science projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine mathematical models for AI‑driven applications, including optimization and probabilistic reasoning.
• Conduct rigorous theoretical analysis to validate and extend existing algorithms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate mathematical insights into scalable computational solutions.
• Publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals or present at academic and industry conferences.
• Mentor junior researchers or graduate students in advanced mathematical concepts.

Required profile

• PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field.
• Proven expertise in mathematical modeling, numerical analysis, or computational mathematics.
• Strong background in statistics, linear algebra, and differential equations.
• Experience with machine‑learning frameworks or optimization algorithms is highly desirable.
