Remote Mechanical Engineer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Remote Mechanical Engineer on a contract basis to design, analyse and optimise mechanical systems for a global manufacturing leader. The role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyse and test mechanical components and assemblies using CAD tools.
• Create detailed technical drawings, schematics and documentation.
• Perform structural, thermal and fluid‑dynamics simulations (FEA, CFD) to validate designs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to achieve cost‑effective production and maintain quality control.
• Conduct failure analysis and propose design improvements based on test results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience with CAD software and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials and relevant industry standards.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
