Retail Trainer

About the role

Longway, part of Yadea Pakistan, is hiring a Retail Trainer in Lahore to strengthen its showroom sales team. The trainer develops employees' product knowledge, improves customer handling and sales skills, and ensures consistent service standards across the retail network.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct retail sales and product knowledge training for showroom staff.
• Train sales teams on customer handling, product demonstrations and effective sales techniques.
• Develop training materials, presentations and learning resources tailored to retail operations.
• Run onboarding and regular refresher sessions for new and existing employees.
• Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, observations and sales performance indicators.
• Identify skill gaps and recommend targeted training interventions.
• Support sales teams in reaching targets and improving conversion rates.
• Ensure consistent brand standards, showroom presentation and customer service across outlets.
• Maintain training records, attendance, feedback and performance reports.
• Coordinate with Sales and Retail Operations to identify training needs and business priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in retail training, sales training or a similar role.
• Experience in the automotive, motorcycle, electric vehicle or consumer electronics industry is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to retail outlets when required.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of retail sales processes, customer handling and product demonstrations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, coaching and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop training materials and deliver engaging sessions.
• Strong organizational and reporting skills.
