Rust Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Rust Developer to work remotely on a contract basis, building high‑performance, memory‑safe systems for a global software development leader.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Rust‑based applications and libraries focusing on performance and reliability.
• Write idiomatic Rust code adhering to best practices for safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate Rust components into existing systems.
• Optimize algorithms and data structures for low‑latency and high‑throughput applications.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions for system design.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Rust programming and its ecosystem (Cargo, Clippy, Rustfmt).
• Background in systems programming, memory management, and concurrency.
• Experience using performance profiling and debugging tools for Rust applications.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and optimization techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
