Sales Manager – Optical Communication Products

About the role

SolutionMall is seeking a Sales Manager to drive business development and sales of optical communication products for B2B customers, channel partners and project opportunities. The role involves identifying customer needs, supporting RFQs, and coordinating product selection for fiber‑optic network projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new opportunities with customers, distributors, integrators and channel partners for optical communication solutions.
• Gather and analyse technical and purchasing requirements for fiber‑optic network projects.
• Promote a portfolio that includes fiber optic cables, transceivers, patch cords, connectors, ODFs, distribution boxes, splitters, WDM products and related accessories.
• Assist customers in selecting products based on transmission distance, bandwidth, interface, fiber type and network architecture.
• Manage RFQs, quotations, purchasing requirements and follow up on project opportunities.
• Coordinate communication between customers, SolutionMall teams, suppliers and technical experts.
• Support commercial negotiations, order progress and project development.
• Maintain relationships with telecom operators, system integrators, contractors, distributors and enterprise customers.
• Provide market feedback on demand, product trends, pricing and competition.

Required profile

• Experience or solid knowledge of optical communication, fiber‑optic products or telecom networking equipment.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Strong B2B sales and business development skills.
• Proficiency in coordinating RFQs, quotations and supplier interactions.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
