Security Guard Supervisor (Retired Army)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Security Guard Supervisor with a military background to lead our on‑site security team. The successful candidate will ensure the safety of our facilities, manage guard personnel and uphold the highest standards of security operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a team of security guards, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement security protocols and strategies to enhance safety.
• Train, mentor and support security personnel.
• Conduct regular inspections and patrols to monitor compliance and identify risks.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services.
• Prepare and maintain detailed incident and activity reports.
• Collaborate with management to improve security measures and allocate resources efficiently.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of supervisory experience in security or military settings, preferably with an army background.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and make decisions under high‑pressure situations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods.

Required skills

• Proficiency with security technology and equipment.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification.
