Business Assurance Executive

About the role

The Business Assurance Executive (Security and Compliance Specialist) supports the global Business Assurance framework for the IELTS network. The role focuses on conducting audits, investigations and monitoring activities to protect the integrity of IELTS operations and ensure compliance with global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits and investigations across the IELTS network to verify compliance with global security and compliance standards.
• Develop and implement solutions for security incidents related to IOC+P and IOC tests.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on security incidents, recommending policy enhancements based on findings.
• Support onboarding of new test centres and venues through risk assessments and compliance readiness checks.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to embed best practices and drive continuous improvement.
• Track audit trends, compile reports and recommend actions to reduce non‑compliance and security risks.
• Manage investigation case handling, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and thoroughness.
• Analyze investigation data to identify trends and work with local teams on remedial actions.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in security, compliance, audit or investigation functions, preferably within a testing or education environment.
• Strong understanding of global standards and ability to apply them across multiple locations.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on identifying risks and recommending improvements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
