Senior Accountant

About the role

Our client, a well‑established travel and tourism company, is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to lead its accounting operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records using double‑entry accounting principles.
• Record and manage daily revenue transactions.
• Perform regular bank and cash reconciliations.
• Maintain and reconcile vendor, supplier, and customer ledger accounts.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Prepare monthly profit & loss statements and other management reports.
• Prepare quarterly financial statements and final accounts.
• Assist with financial audits and provide supporting documentation.
• Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or related qualification (B.Com, M.Com, ACCA, CA (Inter), ICMA or equivalent).
• Proven senior‑level accounting experience with ability to work independently.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple accounting tasks while meeting deadlines.
