Assistant Manager Vendor Costing & Pricing

About the role

The Assistant Manager Vendor Costing & Pricing supports effective vendor cost management and pricing decisions by monitoring price increases, preparing cost estimates, evaluating vendor pricing, and maintaining accurate part rates.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor vendor price increases against approved budgets, identify cost variances, and support actions to keep costs within defined limits.
• Support the evaluation and negotiation of vendor prices by analyzing cost structures, material rates, and historical pricing to achieve competitive and commercially viable prices.
• Prepare cost estimates and pricing analyses using material, LVA, and other relevant cost inputs for tractor and auto parts.
• Maintain a sound understanding of raw material prices and market trends relevant to tractor and auto parts manufacturing and assess their impact on vendor pricing.
• Support vendor meetings and price negotiations by preparing pricing comparisons, cost summaries, and relevant analysis for decision‑making.
• Ensure accurate and timely updating of new and revised part rates in SAP following approved pricing decisions.
• Prepare model‑wise Budget vs. Actual cost reports, price trend analysis, stock position reports, and other management reports to support cost monitoring and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration or a related field from an HEC‑recognized university; professional certification such as ACCA, CMA or ACMA preferred.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry, including at least 1 year in costing, pricing or cost analysis.
