Senior Associate / Supervising Associate - Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

EY is strengthening its Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting and Analysis (PBFA) capabilities across the MENA region and is looking for a Senior Associate / Supervising Associate in Karachi to support the Service Line PBFA Lead. The role delivers high-quality financial planning, performance reporting, analytics and business insights, helping finance professionals contribute to strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Service Line PBFA Lead in budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting and financial planning.
• Analyze large datasets to give insight on revenue, profitability, utilization, margins and other key indicators.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, scorecards and presentations for leadership review.
• Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning and forecasting.
• Perform variance analysis and identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Support ad-hoc reporting and collaborate with Finance, Experience Management, Talent, Markets and GDS teams.
• Take part in process improvement, reporting enhancements and automation, and act as a point of contact for analysis requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in FP&A, financial reporting, business finance, commercial finance or financial analysis.
• Ideally holds a professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CMA or CIMA.
• Ideally has experience in a professional services, consulting or multinational environment, and has supported senior stakeholders with performance reporting.

Required skills

• Advanced financial modelling and business analysis.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Power BI skills.
• Experience with large datasets, financial reporting and performance analysis.
• Ideally: Power BI, automation, AI-enabled reporting and advanced analytics.
