Senior Contracts Manager – Hydroelectric Projects

About the role

GE Vernova is looking for a Senior Contracts Manager to lead contract strategy and execution for key hydroelectric projects in Pakistan. Reporting to the Asia & EMEA Region Contracts Management Leader, you will work closely with Project Directors, Project Managers and functional teams across the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Project Directors/Managers to develop risk mitigation plans and identify margin improvement opportunities.
• Draft, negotiate and manage contract provisions, amendments and claims, ensuring they reflect agreed terms and protect commercial interests.
• Support project negotiations by providing contract inputs, commercial arguments and strategic recommendations.
• Identify contractual and commercial risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and produce robust Extension of Time and cost claims.
• Manage all contractual events that affect performance obligations and commercial position.
• Participate in regular risk and opportunity reviews, escalating issues to senior leadership when necessary.
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers, subcontractors, consortium partners and regulatory bodies in Pakistan.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in commercial contract management for large‑scale infrastructure or energy projects.
• Proven ability to lead negotiations, manage claims and resolve disputes.
• Strong commercial insight and judgment with the capacity to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
