Senior Manager – Financial Reporting

About the role

Al Ghurair is seeking a Senior Manager – Financial Reporting to join its Corporate Finance team in Karachi. Reporting to the EVP of Financial Planning, Analytics & Control, you will lead financial planning, analysis and performance reviews for the Group and its Business Units, providing reliable insights that support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct business performance, risk and scenario analysis across Business Units at the corporate level.
• Monitor historical financial trends and KPIs, identify future trends and provide recommendations.
• Perform internal and external financial performance benchmarking and generate actionable business insights.
• Partner with Corporate Functions and Business Unit Finance on strategy setting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Drive continuous improvement of the financial planning and analysis process.
• Plan, manage and lead the financial reporting cycle, including management reporting, budgeting and forecasts.
• Prepare and finalize periodic management reports, executive summaries, commentaries, KPIs, balance‑sheet and P&L presentations.
• Maintain a strong control environment to ensure data accuracy, reliability and transparency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university; qualified Chartered Accountant (CA/ACCA).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Financial Planning, Analysis and Management Reporting.
• At least 1 year of managerial experience with coaching and mentoring responsibilities.
• Proven experience with Hyperion Financial Management and Power BI.
