Senior Manual QA Engineer

About the role

TradeCafe is seeking a Senior Manual QA Engineer to join its fast‑moving engineering team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of a digitally powered marketplace that serves the global protein commodities industry.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and execute detailed test plans, test cases and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, smoke and end‑to‑end testing of UI/UX, APIs, integrations and backend workflows.
• Execute API testing with Postman and performance testing with JMeter.
• Identify, document and track defects using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and QA peers to reproduce issues and drive resolutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to root‑cause analysis and process improvements.

Required profile

• 4–5+ years of hands‑on manual software testing experience.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques and industry best practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail and proactive mindset.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• API testing with Postman.
• Performance testing with JMeter.
• Defect tracking using Jira.
• Testing of REST APIs, web applications and backend services.
• Manual test case and test plan creation.
• Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and mobile testing tools (Appium, BrowserStack) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, Git/Bitbucket and CI/CD pipelines.
