Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team at 3D Cube Design Studio in Rawalpindi. The role involves creating innovative mechanical solutions for a range of products serving local and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and propose innovative mechanical design concepts.
• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies and engineering drawings using SOLIDWORKS.
• Prepare complete, manufacturing‑ready technical documentation.
• Support prototyping, testing activities and ensure designs are optimized for DFM and DFA.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, suppliers and manufacturing partners.
• Maintain engineering quality standards and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical product design and development.
• Professional SOLIDWORKS CSWP certification (required).
• CSWE certification (preferred).
• Strong understanding of DFM, DFA, GD&T, manufacturing processes and engineering documentation.

Required skills

• SOLIDWORKS CAD modelling and drawing creation.
• DFM and DFA analysis.
• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Technical documentation preparation.
