Shift Engineer - Water Management

About the role

Style Textile is hiring a Shift Engineer for its facility in Manga, Lahore. The post suits Chemical Engineering graduates with 2-4 years of experience in water treatment, utilities or a related industrial field. The engineer operates water treatment systems, monitors water quality, maintains equipment performance and ensures compliance with environmental and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee water management systems and ensure their safe and efficient operation during assigned shifts
• Operate and monitor reverse osmosis (RO) plants, water softeners and wastewater treatment facilities
• Test water regularly and adjust processes so water quality meets required standards
• Maintain shift logs, record system performance and report incidents or unusual operating conditions
• Troubleshoot equipment or process problems and coordinate with maintenance teams
• Monitor chemical usage, dosing levels, system parameters and equipment performance
• Follow environmental, health and safety requirements and industrial procedures
• Help reduce water losses, energy consumption and chemical usage while improving system performance
• Support inspections and audits of water treatment and management systems

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in water treatment, utilities or a related field
• Ability to work in shifts
• Good communication and reporting skills, attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices

Required skills

• Understanding of water treatment processes and equipment
• Knowledge of wastewater management and environmental compliance
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards and operating procedures
• Ability to monitor system parameters and troubleshoot operational issues
