SOC Analyst Level 1 – Security Operations Center

About the role

The SOC Analyst L1 will monitor, investigate and respond to security incidents across customer IT environments. Working within Zones' Security Operations Center, you will help protect digital infrastructures from cyber threats while delivering high‑quality service to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot security incidents, identify root causes, resolve issues and document solutions.
• Conduct technical analysis on impacted systems to determine scope, impact and recovery steps.
• Monitor threats to customer IT infrastructure and follow defined workflows for response and mitigation.
• Collect and validate artifacts to support incident‑response activities and produce evidence reports.
• Assess security controls for weaknesses, perform threat and vulnerability analysis and recommend improvements.
• Maintain a customer‑centric service culture, ensuring each client feels uniquely supported.
• Share knowledge with teammates, mentor junior staff and document best‑practice procedures.
