Software Engineer - FinTech (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join a global leader in financial services. In this remote position you will help design, build, and maintain core financial platforms that process real‑time transactions for millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise backend services for high‑volume financial transaction processing.
• Integrate third‑party financial APIs and payment gateways in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Implement robust security controls to meet financial regulations and data‑privacy standards.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents to minimise downtime and ensure system reliability.

Required profile

• Proven experience with financial transaction systems, payment processing, or related domains.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, micro‑services architecture, and API design.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration.
• Ability to develop unit and integration tests that guarantee code quality and performance.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
