Study Abroad Counsellor (Lead / Senior)

About the role

Interface is an AI-driven organisation that guides people in study abroad opportunities, RCIC immigration pathways, visas and global careers, supporting clients interested in Canada, the UK, Europe, the USA and Australia. It is hiring a Lead Counsellor and a Senior Counsellor for full-time, on-site roles at its Lahore office (DHA Phase 5). Both roles look after clients across study abroad, immigration, visas and global career pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed consultations, assess client profiles and recommend suitable academic programmes and countries.
• Prepare immigration and visa files with the licensed RCIC, who provides all immigration advice.
• Guide clients through application processes, documentation requirements and timelines, ensuring accurate information and compliant practices.
• Help run the Lahore branch day to day, lead team meetings, support and train junior counsellors and maintain consistent service standards and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to stay current on international education trends, visa regulations and career planning, and contribute to process improvements and client outreach.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in study abroad counselling or immigration consulting, able to explain complex pathways clearly to clients.
• Experience leading or mentoring counselling teams, with skills in supervision, training, performance feedback and quality assurance.
• Bachelor's degree in Counselling, Education, Psychology, Business or a related field; career counselling or immigration consulting certifications are an advantage.
• Excellent spoken and written English; Urdu or Punjabi is an asset for client engagement in Lahore.

Required skills

• Strong client relationship management, consultation and communication skills, including active listening and handling client concerns professionally.
• Ability to research and stay current on international education systems, admission requirements, scholarship opportunities and global labour market trends.
• Proficiency with digital tools and AI-supported platforms for client management, documentation tracking and communication.
• Organisational and time-management skills, able to handle multiple client cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
