Supply Chain & Transport Operations Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain and Transport Operations Manager will oversee end‑to‑end transport and supply‑chain activities to ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery of goods. Based in Islamabad, the role coordinates fleet planning, driver scheduling, route optimisation and inventory management while collaborating with warehouse staff, drivers and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage end‑to‑end transport operations, including fleet planning and driver scheduling.
• Optimise delivery routes to reduce mileage, fuel consumption and transit times while maximising on‑time performance.
• Plan vehicle capacity utilisation to maximise space usage and minimise trips.
• Monitor and control transportation costs (fuel, tolls, maintenance, third‑party freight) within budget and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Drive dispatch performance by ensuring accurate and timely handoff of orders from warehouse to transport.
• Coordinate with customers, retailers and internal teams to resolve transit delays, delivery exceptions and escalations.
• Develop and implement supply‑chain strategies that enhance efficiency, reduce costs and improve service levels.
• Manage inventory, warehousing and distribution processes to ensure smooth flow of goods.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including order picking and outbound shipping, and manage replenishment cycles.
• Forecast demand based on sales trends, seasonal fluctuations and customer orders.
• Prepare regular performance reports for leadership review.

Required profile

• Proven experience in transport and supply‑chain operations, preferably in a similar managerial capacity.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to optimise routes, costs and inventory levels.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work closely with warehouse staff, drivers, customers and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight delivery deadlines.
