Team Leader – Corporate Banking

About the role

The Team Leader – Corporate Banking will drive business development, manage client relationships and lead a team of relationship managers to achieve growth targets while ensuring compliance with internal credit standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, manage and control team activities and resources to achieve optimal results.
• Lead business development initiatives to meet targeted growth and loan‑book objectives.
• Maintain corporate client relationships at all levels and support deal origination and execution.
• Market new clients, expand existing accounts and generate cross‑sell opportunities across CIBG and other departments.
• Oversee a team of RMs, ARMs, SROs and ROs in client management, business growth, credit processes and regulatory compliance.
• Maximize recovery from non‑performing loans and weak accounts.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to secure timely credit approvals and seamless transaction execution.
• Ensure strict adherence to internal guidelines, documentation standards and audit requirements.
• Perform any other assignments as directed by senior management.

Required profile

• Master’s degree preferred, minimum Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
• 4‑6 years of experience in corporate banking or a related field.
• Strong leadership, motivational and team‑building abilities.
• Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking and multi‑tasking capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, solve problems and make decisive decisions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
