Internal Audit Officer (CA Inter) – Lahore

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Internal Audit Officer with a CA Inter qualification to join our finance team in Lahore. The role focuses on reviewing financial transactions, verifying records, and strengthening internal controls to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify invoices for accuracy, making prompt corrections where needed.
• Examine cash collection records and supporting documentation to confirm transaction validity.
• Validate cash payments, ensuring proper authorization and documentation per company policy.
• Conduct daily reviews of financial transactions and accounting records to maintain accuracy and compliance.
• Identify, investigate, and report errors, discrepancies, or irregularities in financial records.
• Maintain detailed audit records and prepare clear audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with the Accounts and Finance teams to resolve identified discrepancies.
• Assist in developing and implementing improved internal financial controls and procedures.
• Use MS Excel and other MS Office tools to analyze financial data and support audit activities.
• Stay updated on relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal audit best practices.

Required profile

• CA Inter qualification (fresh graduate or with 1‑3 years of relevant experience).
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication and reporting skills for preparing audit reports and coordinating across departments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
