Technical Service Consultant

About the role

As a Technical Service Consultant you will act as a power engineer on a variety of complex projects for global clients. You will develop technical and solution‑development skills while working in a progressive, innovative electrical consultancy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical input and leadership on complex power engineering projects.
• Collaborate with clients to translate business requirements into practical engineering solutions.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality, timeline, and budget expectations.
• Conduct power system analyses using industry‑leading tools.
• Prepare detailed technical and non‑technical reports with clear recommendations.
• Participate in remote client meetings, building trusted relationships.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers, delivering online training where needed.
• Perform studies such as load flow, short‑circuit, protection coordination, system resilience, arc‑flash, harmonics, earthing, grid connection and renewable integration.
• Evaluate software‑based engineering solutions and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in power systems engineering.
• Practical, adaptable and technically driven individual.
• Desire to grow into an industry‑recognized consulting specialist.

Required skills

• Power system analysis (load flow, short‑circuit, protection coordination, system resilience).
• Electrical safety and power quality studies (arc‑flash, harmonics, earthing).
• Grid connection and renewable energy integration assessments.
• Proficiency with SKM, EasyPower, ETAP or similar analysis tools.
