Video Director

About the role

PakWheels is seeking a creative and experienced Video Director to own the end‑to‑end production of long‑form YouTube content. You will shape the channel’s strategy, drive audience growth, and ensure every video delivers compelling storytelling and high production quality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute YouTube growth strategies focused on views, watch time, and audience retention.
• Analyse trends, competitor performance and audience data to identify opportunities.
• Conceptualise video ideas, formats and series that align with viewer interests.
• Lead all phases of production – from planning shoots, directing talent, managing camera work, to supervising post‑production.
• Ensure visual consistency, strong hooks, pacing and storytelling across all videos.
• Oversee editing, graphics, sound design and final quality control before publishing.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in video direction, production or content creation.
• Deep understanding of YouTube algorithms, audience behavior and analytics.
• Proven track record of growing a YouTube channel through strategic content.
• Excellent storytelling ability and experience directing talent.
