Academic Guide – Language & Soft Skills

About the role

We are seeking an Academic Guide – Language & Soft Skills to lead learner‑driven experiences that strengthen communication, leadership, and critical thinking. You will work with students at STREAMS Academy International and deliver workshops for partner schools across Karachi.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate language and soft‑skills sessions covering reading, writing, speaking, listening and effective communication.
• Mentor learners in public speaking, presentations, storytelling, debate and academic research.
• Design and deliver interdisciplinary projects that integrate language with science, engineering, AI, technology, arts and service learning.
• Create yearly planners, course outlines, learner milestones and portfolio reviews.
• Conduct mentoring meetings, milestone reviews and represent the company at competitions, exhibitions and conferences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Linguistics, Education, Communication, Psychology, Social Sciences or a related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong understanding of communication, leadership and learner development.
• Ability to simplify concepts and inspire confidence.
• Experience in public speaking, debate, Model United Nations, theatre, storytelling or creative writing is a plus.
• Comfortable using digital tools and AI to enhance learning.
• Willingness to travel across Karachi to support partner schools.
