Academic Manager (Mathematics)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Academic Manager to lead our Mathematics department at our Rawalpindi campus. The role involves overseeing teachers, managing schedules, and driving academic performance during the night shift.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and mentor a team of Mathematics teachers.
• Plan and allocate teacher schedules, class assignments and student batches for optimal efficiency.
• Ensure classes are fully staffed and teaching resources are utilized effectively.
• Monitor departmental KPIs and support business and revenue targets through resource planning.
• Maintain regular communication with senior management and implement organizational directives.
• Prepare reports, keep academic records up‑to‑date and handle documentation.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and operational challenges while preserving service quality.
• Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions and team meetings.
• Promote a positive, accountable and results‑driven work environment.

Required profile

• MPhil in Mathematics (preferred).
• Previous experience in academic management or educational administration.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time‑management capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions.
• Willingness to work the night shift on‑site.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online management tools.
