ACCA Trainee – Finance Team

About the role

Join GSK’s Site Finance team as an ACCA Trainee, supporting financial analysis, reporting, month‑end close and accounting tasks. You will collaborate with finance colleagues across sites and business partners, gaining valuable exposure to finance in a global biopharma environment while progressing on your ACCA qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Support month‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and routine management reports.
• Maintain accounting records and ensure compliance with local regulations and internal controls.
• Help prepare budgets and forecasts.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances with business partners.
• Support audit and tax requests by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives and automate routine tasks.

Required profile

• ACCA qualified or part‑qualified.
• 0–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and basic understanding of IFRS.
