Account Manager – Territory Ownership (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a self‑motivated Account Manager who will own a territory as if it were their own business. You will decide which existing customers to grow, which prospects to pursue and which partners to develop, driving end‑to‑end revenue growth from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Expand existing customers in your territory into new departments, agencies, divisions, use cases and product lines.
• Identify and open net‑new organizations by proactive outreach and cold calling.
• Build and nurture a partner bench in the region, collaborating with partner account managers to ensure local delivery capability.
• Conduct joint calls and visits with partner sellers rather than passing leads.
• Maintain a defensible territory plan, including accounts you will not target this quarter.
• Coordinate with the named‑account team to avoid overlap and turf battles.
• Engage solutions engineering early and hand over production customers to customer success properly.
• Own all deliverables required to close a sale – proposals, demos, feature promises – and drive them to completion across internal teams.

Required profile

• Excellent English verbal communication.
• Experience selling into the US market with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 4–7 years of B2B territory or quota responsibility, covering both existing accounts and new pursuit.
• Proven record of growing an installed base, not just closing first deals.
• Comfort selling through partners and disciplined daily phone activity.
• Broad industry experience; video, evidence management or public safety technology is a plus.
• Knowledge of enterprise or government procurement processes (RFP/RFI).
