Accountant & Billing Specialist (Remote)

About the role

Vigour Med Store is looking for an experienced remote Accountant and Billing Specialist to support its U.S. healthcare distribution business, including Shopify e‑commerce sales and B2B/government contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Generate and process customer invoices for B2B and government customers.
• Monitor customer aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Track Shopify order records, payment receipts, and bank deposits, correcting discrepancies before month‑end.
• Process refunds, chargebacks, and payment discrepancies.
• Record vendor invoices and manage payment schedules.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank and credit‑card reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, P&L, balance sheet, and cash‑flow reports.
• Assist with payroll processing and tax documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with B2B invoicing, customer aging, and collections.
• Understanding of inventory accounting and financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Preferred experience with Shopify or other e‑commerce platforms.
• Familiarity with U.S. accounting practices.
