Accountant – Construction Projects

About the role

The company is seeking a full‑time Accountant to support its construction and engineering projects in Rakhni. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledgers, post journal entries and manage bookkeeping for both project and corporate accounts.
• Prepare and issue invoices, process payments and reconcile bank statements.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, and assist with budgeting and cost tracking for construction projects.
• Prepare financial reports for management and auditors, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers, procurement staff and external stakeholders to support financial decision‑making.

Required profile

• Strong accounting and bookkeeping background with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Experience with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of Pakistani tax regulations, invoicing practices and compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA or CMA are an advantage; prior experience in construction or engineering projects is highly beneficial.
