Accountant (CPA) – Remote Full‑Time

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our finance team remotely. The role involves preparing accurate financial statements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic financial planning in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and relevant regulations.
• Conduct detailed account reconciliations, balance‑sheet analysis, and general‑ledger accounting.
• Manage tax filings, estate‑planning considerations, and securities‑law compliance where applicable.
• Support audit processes, provide documentation, and ensure SOX compliance.
• Assist with financial report writing, budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis.
• Perform account analysis for M&A, asset management, private‑equity, and non‑profit accounting.
• Utilise accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) for bookkeeping, payroll, AP/AR, and financial integration.

Required profile

• CPA license preferred with strong public‑accounting background.
• Proven experience in tax, corporate accounting, auditing, or related fields.
• Solid understanding of GAAP standards and double‑entry bookkeeping.
• Expertise in balance‑sheet, general‑ledger, and account reconciliations.
• Familiarity with estate planning, LIHTC, securities‑law compliance, and M&A concepts.
