Accountant – Financial Reporting

About the role

The Accountant – Financial Reporting will join our Multan office to manage the company’s financial operations, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and provide insightful analysis to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Process financial transactions, maintain general ledger accuracy and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare VAT and corporate tax returns, manage VAT calculations and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Collaborate with the tax team to deliver timely corporate and individual tax filings.
• Review and mentor junior staff on accounting processes, VAT calculations and tax return preparation.
• Create financial reports, analyse trends and present insights to management.
• Stay up‑to‑date with accounting principles, tax regulations and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in an accounting firm.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA or CA is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, auditing, budgeting and tax compliance.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor accounting teams.
