Accountant – Full-Time Position

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Lahore office. The successful candidate will support our clients and senior management by preparing financial statements, handling tax compliance and assisting with audits, while adhering to both local and international accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial statements in line with IFRS, GAAP and local regulations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, record general ledger entries and perform reconciliations.
• Ensure timely tax filings and compliance, including any applicable Norwegian practices.
• Assist audit teams and compile required financial reports.
• Support senior management with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; ACCA, CA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or audit.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP and tax regulations.
• Familiarity with Norwegian accounting practices is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Understanding of IFRS and GAAP standards.
• Knowledge of tax regulations.
