Accountant – Karachi

About the role

The company is seeking an energetic, self‑motivated Accountant to join its Karachi office within the pharmaceutical sector. The role focuses on managing daily banking operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting cash‑flow monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly, monthly and annual bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Handle daily banking activities including deposits, fund transfers, IBFT and RTGS transactions.
• Maintain and update cash‑flow reports and daily fund movement records.
• Process online payments such as vendor, tax and utility payments.
• Manage cheques, post‑dated cheques and related documentation for audit purposes.
• Support month‑end closing and ensure compliance with internal controls and SOPs.

Required profile

• BBA or B.Com degree.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical or similar environment.
• Practical knowledge of banking operations and financial documentation.
