About the role
Predawn Accounting is seeking an Accountant to manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping for its US‑based clients. You will work primarily in QuickBooks Online, ensuring accurate records and timely financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping and data entry in QuickBooks Online.
- Record, categorize transactions and maintain a tidy chart of accounts.
- Execute monthly bank and credit‑card reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Close the books each month, flagging any irregularities.
- Prepare reliable financial statements and reports.
- Respond to client queries and keep their records up to date.
Required profile
- Detail‑oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
- Comfortable with US accounting workflows or eager to learn them quickly.
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and accuracy.
- ACCA students, affiliates, or qualified members are welcome.
Required skills
- QuickBooks (experience with QuickBooks Online preferred).
