About the role
We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in US accounting standards to join a global software development leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while supporting the financial integrity of high‑impact projects.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with US GAAP.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Assist with federal and state tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on financial planning and analysis.
Required profile
- Proven experience with month‑end close and reconciliation processes.
- Strong knowledge of US tax compliance for corporate entities.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
