Accountant – US Experience (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in US GAAP to support a global software development leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from any location while handling month‑end close, financial reporting and tax compliance for US‑based entities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with US GAAP.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Perform bank, accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliations.
• Assist with federal and state tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on financial planning and analysis.

Required profile

• Proven experience with US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Hands‑on experience in month‑end close and reconciliation processes.
• Strong knowledge of US tax compliance for corporate entities.
• Detail‑oriented with ability to meet tight deadlines.
