Accounting & Tax Coordination Specialist

About the role

Pinnacle Tax Firm, a US‑headquartered accounting and tax practice with a back‑office in Karachi, is looking for a Coordinator to support the delivery of accounting and tax management activities for its international operations. The role requires meticulous organization, record‑keeping and effective communication with both local and US teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily back‑office workflows for accounting and tax assignments.
• Collect, organize and verify financial documents and supporting records.
• Maintain digital files, trackers, schedules and status reports.
• Follow up with stakeholders to obtain missing information and meet deadlines.
• Assist in preparing, reviewing and routing documents for accounting and tax teams.
• Monitor task progress, identify discrepancies and escalate issues promptly.
• Handle confidential financial information with professionalism and discretion.
• Facilitate communication between the Karachi office and US‑based teams.

Required profile

• Strong coordination, organization and follow‑up abilities.
• Working knowledge of accounting records, financial documentation and basic tax terminology.
• High attention to detail when reviewing figures, forms and supporting documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines and maintain accurate trackers.
