Accounts Assistant – Finance Operations Specialist

About the role

Royal International is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Assistant – Finance Operations Specialist to support daily accounting activities in its Islamabad office. The role focuses on accurate bookkeeping, processing of payables and receivables, and assisting with month‑end and year‑end closing tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date bookkeeping records of daily financial transactions.
• Process accounts payable by verifying invoices, reconciling statements and preparing timely payments.
• Manage accounts receivable, issue invoices to clients and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Prepare regular bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and internal records.
• Enter financial data into accounting software and Excel spreadsheets with a focus on data integrity.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and preliminary analyses.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities by gathering documentation and generating reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to collect financial information and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in accounting or finance operations.
• Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in English communication.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting/ERP software such as QuickBooks, SAP or Oracle.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliation processes.
