Accounts Manager

About the role

Al Hadeed Medicine Company, a leading distributor of medicines and medical supplies in South Punjab, is looking for an experienced Accounts Manager for its Multan office. The role will oversee all financial operations, ensure accurate record‑keeping and provide timely financial analysis to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle accounting including ledger entries, journal postings, reconciliations and month‑end/year‑end close.
• Prepare and present monthly financial statements, variance analyses and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
• Maintain vendor and customer account records, resolve discrepancies and coordinate statements with suppliers.
• Implement and enforce internal controls, accounting policies and procedures.
• Supervise and train junior accounting staff and liaise with external auditors.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in distribution, pharmaceutical or medical device sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce; professional certification (ACCA/CA/CPA) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/local standards and month‑end/year‑end processes.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and financial reporting.
• Understanding of Pakistani tax regulations, sales tax and withholding practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Tally.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
