Accounts Manager (UAE Team)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to lead our UAE‑focused accounts department. Based on‑site in Gulberg Greens, Islamabad, you will report directly to the CEO and be the primary point of contact for UAE‑based clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and oversee the entire Accounts Department, ensuring day‑to‑day operational excellence.
• Report departmental performance, client delivery, financial operations, risks and outstanding matters to the CEO.
• Maintain professional relationships with a portfolio of UAE clients and ensure timely collection of accounting data, bank statements and invoices.
• Handle UAE VAT and Corporate Tax matters, including FTA portal registration, filing, reconciliations and deadline control.
• Supervise bookkeeping, bank and control‑account reconciliations, month‑end closures and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS for SMEs and coordinate audit processes.
• Develop, document and implement SOPs, improve controls and accounting workflows, and train junior accountants.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑5 years of accounting or finance experience within a UAE‑based accounting firm, including managerial responsibility.
• Proven experience leading an accounts department or a sizable accounting team.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of the FTA portal, UAE VAT and UAE Corporate Tax.
• Ability to manage multiple SME clients, competing deadlines and client escalations.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder‑management skills; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with the FTA portal for UAE tax compliance.
• Proficiency in Odoo, Zoho Books and QuickBooks Online.
• Strong understanding of IFRS for SMEs and UAE tax regulations.
