Aero Medical Coordinator (Islamabad)

About the role

The Aero Medical Coordinator supports aviation medical operations for air crew and flight operations officers in Islamabad. The role ensures compliance with Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) policies while managing medical examinations, health reporting, and drug/alcohol testing for cockpit and cabin crew.

Key responsibilities

• Perform duties assigned by the accountable manager for the Air Operator Certificate (AOC).
• Assist with medical examinations for air crew and flight operations officers during induction and revalidation.
• Manage daily sick report consultations for cockpit and cabin crew and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑flight alcohol breathalyzer checks and random psychoactive drug testing, generating and filing test reports.
• Arrange appointments and coordinate with hospitals, consultants, and aeromedical authorities.
• Liaise with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to ensure timely annual and six‑monthly medical examinations for cockpit crew, dispatching required documentation.
• Replenish medical supplies in aircraft medical kits and first‑aid kits at the office.
• Provide first‑aid coverage during SEP training and support general clinical assistant duties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Medical Technology or equivalent (12+4).
• Prior experience in aviation or aero‑medical environments preferred.
• Ability to work within established procedures and comply with PCAA regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
