AI Engineering Lead

About the role

CoPilot Innovations is seeking an AI Engineering Lead to serve as the technical authority for its engineering team. This hands‑on leadership position combines building production‑ready AI systems with coaching engineers, reviewing architectures, and establishing high engineering standards across client accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and ship end‑to‑end AI applications across Generative AI, agentic AI, computer vision, and automation.
• Lead technical direction for AI projects across multiple client accounts.
• Review solution architectures to ensure they are scalable, secure, and enterprise‑ready.
• Coach and mentor engineers through code reviews, one‑on‑ones, and growth plans.
• Define best practices for AI‑first software development, cloud deployment, and engineering quality.

Required profile

• 5+ years of AI/ML engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or mentoring role.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain AI trade‑offs to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of guiding engineering teams and delivering high‑impact AI solutions.
