Airline Captain – Commercial Pilot

About the role

The Captain is responsible for safely operating assigned flights in accordance with the Airline Operational Manual and civil aviation regulations. This senior position leads the flight crew, ensures passenger comfort, and upholds the airline’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Fly the aircraft on scheduled routes, adhering to approved flight plans and prioritising safety, efficiency and passenger comfort.
• Conduct pre‑flight briefings, verify crew fitness, grooming and legal requirements, and coordinate with dispatch, co‑pilots and maintenance.
• Monitor fuel usage, manage in‑flight emergencies, and direct crew actions during safety or security incidents.
• Ensure all required documentation, technical logs and regulatory paperwork are accurately completed and carried.

Required profile

• Valid ATPL licence and successful completion of technical/psychometric and medical fitness assessments.
• Minimum 4,000 flight hours, preferably on Airbus A320, with experience in low‑cost airline operations.
• Training in safety, emergency response, crew resource management and knowledge of aviation regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Airbus A320 aircraft systems.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.
• Ability to produce technical reports and presentations in English.
