Application Security Officer

About the role

The Application Security Officer will lead end‑to‑end security testing across our web, mobile, API, and network environments. You will work closely with development teams to uncover and remediate security flaws, ensuring a robust security posture throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing (VAPT) on web applications, mobile platforms, APIs, and network infrastructure.
• Conduct source code reviews to detect insecure coding patterns and security weaknesses.
• Collaborate directly with developers to communicate findings, guide remediation, and verify fixes.
• Define, implement, and enforce security guidelines, policies, and best practices across engineering teams.
• Manage relationships with third‑party vendors and clients for security assessments, audits, and compliance activities.
• Develop and maintain custom scripts and automation tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging threats, CVEs, and attack techniques to continuously enhance security measures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in application security, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable remediation steps.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with development teams and external stakeholders.
