AR Accountant

About the role

Global Vision, an outsourcing firm in Karachi, is looking for an Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant to manage receivable processes, ensure accurate invoicing and support cash‑flow management for client accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices, credit notes, and statements.
• Record, allocate, and verify incoming payments in the accounting system.
• Monitor aging reports, follow up on overdue balances and support collection activities.
• Investigate billing discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve queries.
• Perform regular customer account reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation.
• Assist with month‑end closing, receivables reporting, and audit‑related requests.
• Adhere to established controls, client requirements and data confidentiality standards.

Required profile

• Practical experience in accounts receivable, invoicing and payment allocation.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, receivables aging and collection procedures.
• Ability to work closely with clients and internal finance teams.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy and time‑management.
• Proficient English communication skills.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (formulas, sorting, filtering, reconciliation workbooks).
• ERP or accounting software for payment processing and record keeping.
• Handling of confidential financial information.
